Classes Offered
Beginning Acting: Students break down inibitions through fun group exercises and imrovisations, then move on to development of physical and vocal life skills, scene work, monologue and audition skills. This work not only gives a foundation for work on the stage, but also for off-stage situations, such as job interviews, where good presentation skills are an advantage.
Intermediate/Advanced Acting: Students in this class take what they learned in Beginning Acting, and put it to practical use in stage productions. (See Our Town, You Can't Take it With You, All in the Timing, and Murder Mysteries), students also learn advanced skills of acting and presentation, as they work on scenes and other production work, including learning dialects, classical acting, and an introduction to voice-over and camera acting work.
